Emergency Dentistry

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT CONSTITUTES A DENTAL EMERGENCY:

  • Any pain or discomfort in the mouth whether or not your feel that this is associated with a tooth

  • Any amount of swelling inside your mouth, around a tooth/gums, or visible swelling on your face

  • An unusual/unexpected amount of sensitivity on one or more teeth (usually responding to cold/hot/sweets)

  • A broken or chipped tooth, filling, crown, or any part of tooth structure

  • A sudden change in your taste or breath – the feeling of a bad taste or smell coming out of your mouth that was never there before

  • Any amount of tooth related discomfort or pain which disrupts your sleep or eating

NOTE: if you are experiencing ANY of the above, DO NOT wait and contact the office or the doctor on call!
